Myles Cohen

Myles Cohen is a renowned circular economy executive and ESG leader with in-depth experience in recycling, waste, sustainable packaging, public policy & government advocacy.   He has excelled with proven results in leading large multi-national for-profit organizations, while also being a member or serving in voluntary executive, board, and officer roles in not-for-profit trade associations working on environmental policy and advocacy work on behalf of the industry he has served. Some of these include a three-term board member of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI), vice-president and president of Paper Stock Industries (PSI) (the national paper recyclers trade organization), and several other national and regional packaging and recycling organizations. He’s the recipient of a lifetime achievement award from one of the recycling organizations that he served.

Cohen has been a sought-after keynote speaker, panelist, and moderator at multiple industry events due to his expertise and foresight regarding recycling, waste, and packaging sustainability issues. From 2008 to 2021 Cohen served in various senior executive roles at Pratt Industries, including president of Pratt Recycling, helping to lead the growth of Pratt Industries to the 5th largest corrugated box company in the USA. Throughout his career in the sustainable packaging and recycling industry, he has led organizations that have bought, sold, and traded tens of millions of tons of recovered materials to turn into new products, ultimately diverting them from ending up in landfills.

He recently founded Circular Ventures, LLC where he provides board and advisory services to companies and networking groups that are involved in sustainable packaging, recycling initiatives, and formulating views on ESG public policy and legislative issues.
